At Pop Star Dog Training we love dogs and their people. Using family friendly methods, we open the pathways of communication to nurture a relationship between the two built on trust and love. We know how frustrating it can be living with a dog who won’t listen. Here, we give you the tools to understand what your dog is trying to tell you and how you can show your dog what you want him to do. These “a-ha” moments will last a lifetime.
Heather Cole became hooked on dog training when an exuberant, yet anxious pit bull named Poppy Rose came into her life. She quickly realized that in order to teach her dog to live in a house, she needed to learn how to talk to her. Heather is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and Family Paws licensed presenter. She most recently attended an operant-conditioning workshop with renowned animal trainer Bob Bailey. She continues to study and attend seminars to stay up-to-date on current science-based dog training techniques.
Heather resides in Lee’s Summit, MO with her husband Phil, her two daughters Madeline and Cosima, and three dogs, Ernie, Copper and Scarlet.
